Their support reads off of a script that makes no sense and they repeat the same thing over and over. My bank does not share that internal info. They said it's not good enough, and asked for an internal code for the transactions that the bank uses. They asked for documentation from my bank that money was deducted for a month. Their system had a glitch and continued to charge my credit card weekly! The merchant had no option to refund me. I have taken this up with FCA and Stripe is being blacklisted in the UK, which many don't know.Īn absolute nightmare to deal with. They must be earning millions every month from this tactic in interest as you can imagine the millions of pounds being held across hundreds of thousands of businesses. They hold your funds whilst they earn interest on all the money. Because this is all done on purpose, they block any method of complaining. Furthermore, once they freeze your money their support automatically disables the Call Back feature. Stripe sent an automated email saying our business breached the terms! After 6 months of trading with them and Stripe collecting payments. In case your wondering, we are a simple business selling courses. Even after the 6 months have passed they will still hold the money for further 3 months. They won't tell you this, however they will illegally hold your funds for over 6 months. I've used many merchants and Stripe is the worse of them all.
